Bio - Dr. Shyno Mathew

Dr. Shyno Mathew is a strong advocate of peace, healthy living and STEM (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics) education. She did her PhD in Computational Chemical Engineering at Columbia University with the long term application of therapeutic development. Dr. Mathew enjoys teaching STEM subjects and have taught many courses (3rd grade to PhD level), including Columbia Girls in STEM initiative and 3 week summer immersion program. 

Dr. Mathew is the cofounder of qLogiX Entertainment, a startup that engages children (K-6) of all backgrounds (inclusive of all cultures, races, genders, and socioeconomic statuses) to learn STEM (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics) concepts  through fun, interactive and innovative play. She loves playing tennis, squash (US Nationals, 2009), creating healthy and tasty recipes, drawing, yoga, learning Ayurveda and reading. Shyno is a Drexel Alumni Ambassador, and a proud member of Philanthropic Educational Organization (P.E.O International). 

In addition to the support from her family and teachers, it is the quality childhood education she received made her journey possible, from a small town in India to undergrad at Drexel University and to grad school at Columbia. So at qLogix Entertainment, we dedicate 10% of our profits for supporting education of children in high needs situation.
